Band Information
Forming in the summer of 2011, Palm Reader haven't been a shy band. Launching their debut, self-titled EP in March 2012 and wetting the pallet of all that indulged, the band have been on a no holds barred rampage ever since.

Receiving accolades such as...
"Excellent Hardcore: Excellentcore" - Rock Sound
"The start of something very special" - Kerrang
Top 5 Records of the year (so far) - Metal Hammer - June 2012

...the band set their sights to kill on the UK underground. Earning their stripes on the basement touring circuit, set themselves apart from their peers with a live show rival to none.

"Palm Reader are the T-1000 of hardcore. When they leave the stage there is a stunned silence that this band could be so early in their career" - Metal Hammer

Gearing up to the release of their debut full-length, the bar had been set. Audiences and press alike were waiting with baited breath to see if this band could live up to its potential. The band were being hand-picked to support band's such as Touche Amore, Pianos Become The Teeth, and Gallows. Word had got out, the world was ready to see what Palm Reader were truly made of.

The band's debut album was released in May 2013 to a frenzy of hype in the UK press, with no one doubting that Palm Reader had released one of the strongest debut's in recent history. Ultimately the record would find it's way into the "Top 50 Records of 2013" of magazines such as Rock Sound and countless online blogs.

"A canon blast of break neck hardcore brilliance" - Kerrang (KKKK)
"Bad Weather hits like a freight train out of hell. With these guys at the forefront, British hardcore is in rude health" - Rock Sound (9/10)
"A genuine must hear" - Terrorizer (4/5)
"One of the albums of the year" - Big Cheese (4/5)
Following the release of Bad Weather, festival offers came pouring in for the band that were on the tip of everyone's tongue. Download Festival, Jera On Air (NE), Reading and Leeds, Pukkelpop (BE), Hit The Deck, Greenfield (CH) are just to name a few of the events that saw Palm Reader play their biggest shows to date and sharing stages with some of biggest band Earth has to offer. Being in the spotlight, the band were being noted as one of the "Top 10 unmissable bands" and "Bands You Have To Watch" at some of the UK's largest festivals by magazines such as Metal Hammer, Rock Sound and Kerrang.

Following such an unrivaled summer for a band of their age, the boys were invited down by both Daniel P Carter and Mike Davies at Radio 1 to perform a live session in the legendary Maida Vale Studios. Palm Reader were seemingly being herald as the cream of the crop of British hardcore and an example to all of their competition as to how to do things properly. In a scene where image and merch sales can blind the naive, they were able to cast aside the nonsense and become masters of what truly mattered, the music.

Palm Reader wound up the touring cycle for Bad Weather in Feb 2014 on the Rock Sound / Impericon Exposure Tour, to finish off writing and recording their 2nd full length, "Beside The Ones We Love".

Even when Palm Reader were winding down in preparation for this new campaign, this still didn't stop them taking the summer with a strong stride performing at Sonisphere, Ghostfest and Hevy Fest treating fans to glimpse of what was to come in 2015.

Palm Reader are yet again ready to take the world by storm... if the world is ready for them.

"Beside The Ones We Love" Palm reader's 2nd full length album is due on on In At The Deep End Records on 6th April 2015,

To coincide for Palm Reader's up coming UK tour next week, the guys have released a brand new video for track 'By The Ground We're Defined' from their amazing 2nd album 'Beside The Ones We Love' (The video is a continuation of theme from the "I Watch The Fire Chase My Tongue Video")

Rock Sound - 9/10 | Metal Hammer 9/10 | Kerrang - KKKK

A quote from Josh (Vocals)
"By The Ground, We're Defined" explores themes and comparisons of human life to the more simple existence of nature. As humans we over complicate our existence from just the fundamental aspects of survival and in many cases, forget what is important in life. Come and catch us on tour and I'll tell you all about it!"

02 - Plymouth - Exhile
03 - Derby - The Victoria Inn
04 - Glasgow - Ivory Blacks
